CIMA CIMA is an acronym for 'Chartered Institute of Management Accountants'
I am a CIMA finalist. I have passed all 16 CIMA exams. I must have 3 years of certified practical experience as an accountant before I become a full member of CIMA.

CFA stands for 'Chartered Financial Analyst'. CFa institute is a US based institute with members all over the world. There are 3 levels of exams in the road to CFA membership. I am currently preparing for CFA level 1 exam, which I will sit February 2024

Double Entry Bookkeeping Double entry bookkeeping was developed in Italy in the 16th century. Basically double entry book keeping works by stating that an economic entity has: (1)Assets (2)Liabilities (3)Equity Every transaction has two sides to it, what assets it brings to the company, and what liabilties it brings to an entity

So you want to be an accountant. You need: (1)Expertise in double entry bookkeeping (2)Good knowledge of the accounting standards and laws of the country you live in (3)Project management experience (4)A good knowledge of Microsoft Excel upto vba level
